The problem
Most automotive wreckers were running on Excel spreadsheets, outdated legacy systems, and manual listing processes. The problems stacked with every vehicle processed:
- Stock inaccuracies. Parts recorded in spreadsheets went out of date the moment something was sold, moved, or scrapped. Staff wasted time checking physical stock against records they already knew were wrong.
- Parts not listed online. If it wasn't manually listed, buyers couldn't find it. By the time staff got to it, the buyer had moved on.
- Slow listing workflows. One marketplace listing meant entering the same data into multiple systems. A wrecker processing 20 vehicles a week could lose an entire day to data entry alone.
- No visibility across locations. Multi-yard operations had no way to see what stock existed at other sites without picking up the phone.
Our approach
SwiftPro centralised the entire operation into a single inventory and sales engine. ELASYN built a platform that gives wreckers control from the moment a vehicle enters the yard.
- Inventory management. Vehicle and part-level tracking from intake to sale. Each vehicle is catalogued with make, model, year, and VIN. Parts are generated from a compatibility database and linked to the parent vehicle.
- Vehicle compatibility engine. Make, model, and year filtering that correctly matches parts to buyer searches, powering both internal lookups and marketplace listings with accurate fitment data.
- Marketplace integration. Automated sync with eBay and WooCommerce. Add a part to inventory and it goes live across all connected channels in one action. Sell on any channel and stock updates everywhere instantly.
- Order management. One queue for online orders and walk-in sales, regardless of where the sale came from.
- Real-time stock control. Live inventory counts across all locations. No more calling around to check what another yard has in stock.
The results
Listing time dropped by 70%. What previously took a full day of manual data entry now happens as vehicles are processed. Parts go from intake to online in minutes.
Stock accuracy improved across all locations. Separate spreadsheets per yard were replaced by a single source of truth. Multi-location operations got their first real-time view of what they actually have.
The platform now manages thousands of parts and vehicles, with marketplace syncs running automatically.
